



The Minister of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Taalaybek Ibraev, is participating in the international forum called Bharat Electricity Summit 2026, which is taking place in India.
During the summit, he spoke at the ministerial panel, where issues of integrating renewable energy sources, modernizing energy systems, and developing regional cooperation in the energy sector were discussed.
In his speech, Ibraev emphasized that one of the main challenges of transitioning to new forms of energy is the need to ensure flexibility in energy systems against the backdrop of an increasing share of renewable energy sources. He also highlighted the importance of modernizing grid infrastructure, developing energy storage solutions, and implementing modern balancing methods.
Furthermore, the minister stressed the importance of regional integration, which helps to enhance the resilience of energy systems, reduce the risks of electricity shortages, and optimize resource utilization.
Kyrgyz Republic's participation in the Bharat Electricity Summit 2026 underscores the country's active involvement in the global energy agenda and aims to strengthen international cooperation, attract investments, exchange advanced technologies, and promote sustainable energy solutions.
