In the capital of the Batken region, a ceremonial event was held at the central stadium in honor of Nooruz. This was reported by the president's representative in the region.
The celebration began with the traditional preparation of sumolok, in which both local leaders and representatives of the authorities participated. They expressed wishes for health and peace to the people, tasted sumolok, and received blessings from the residents.
Visitors to the event had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with local cuisine, crafts, and art exhibitions presented in Batken and its district. The cultural program included performances by artists from the A. Jainakov Musical and Dramatic Theater with theatrical numbers.
In the official part of the event, greetings were delivered by the Secretary of the Security Council Adilet Orozbekov, the authorized representative of the President of Kyrgyzstan in the Batken region Mamyrzhan Rakhimov, the mayor of Batken Seytek Kulubaev, as well as the akim of the Batken district Danir Imanaliev and guests from neighboring Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
