Two new rural police stations have been opened in the Osh region.

This information was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Osh region.

According to the received data, President Sadyr Japarov held an online event on March 21, during which he presented 26 new buildings of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, constructed in five different regions of the country.

Among those present at the opening ceremony was the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel General of Police Ulan Niyazbekov.

Specifically, a rural police station was opened in the village of Papaan in the Kara-Suu district, and in the Nookat district — in the village of Kök-Jar. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by the leadership of the Osh region's Internal Affairs Department, headed by Nurlanbek Burkanov, as well as local authorities.

"The construction of new buildings was carried out at the expense of the republican budget and completed in accordance with modern standards," the statement noted.

All necessary conditions for the work of employees have been created in the new police stations, including offices, a meeting room, rest rooms, and other facilities.

"These initiatives are aimed at improving the working conditions of employees and enhancing the quality of service for citizens," the press service added.
