This year, the installation of 60 kilometers of self-supporting insulated wires (SIP-2 and SIP-3) is planned in the Batken region as part of the electrical network upgrade. This information was provided by NES Kyrgyzstan, which clarified that the work began in March and will continue until November to prepare for the autumn-winter season of 2026-2027.

The modernization project, carried out by the Ministry of Energy, aims to improve infrastructure, reduce electricity losses, and enhance the reliability of power supply.

Among the planned works are 16.25 km of new lines, while 43.75 km will involve the reconstruction of old lines with the replacement of aluminum wires. The work will cover the Suluktu, Leilek, Batken, Kadamjai, and Kyzyl-Kyya electric networks.

Updates on the repair work and timelines will be posted on the official website of the Batken branch of JSC "NES Kyrgyzstan," as well as on their Facebook and Instagram pages. Additionally, notifications will be sent through the mobile application "My Light." Questions regarding power supply can be clarified by calling the 24-hour call center at 105.
