In 2026, work is planned in the Naryn region for the installation and reconstruction of 66.36 km of SIP-2 and SIP-3 cables with a voltage of 10/0.4 kV, reports the Ministry of Energy.
The following works are planned for the reconstruction and construction of new SIP cables:
- At-Bashinsky district — 14 km
- Ak-Talinsky district — 6.8 km
- Kochkorsky district — 14.5 km
- Jumgal district — 6.5 km
- Toguz-Toro district — 7.6 km
- Naryn district — 16.9 km
The work will be financed by the National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan and is scheduled to be completed from April to the end of October in the Naryn region.
The use of SIP cables significantly increases the reliability of electrical networks. These cables are resistant to weather conditions, help reduce electricity losses, decrease the number of emergency outages, and lower operating costs. Furthermore, they enhance the safety of using electrical networks in populated areas, making them more convenient and stable.
