The football club "Muras United" from Kyrgyzstan achieved a confident victory over the Lebanese "Safa" with a score of 2:0 in the group stage match of the AFC Challenge League for the 2025-2026 season, which took place in Bishkek. The first points on the scoreboard were recorded in the 17th minute when Islam Yunusov opened the scoring. The final goal, which secured the team's victory, was scored by Nursultan Toktonaliev in the final minutes of the second half.
It is worth noting that "Muras United" will play its next match on October 31 against the Kuwaiti club "Al-Arabi", which will be the final of the group stage.
Additionally, two other clubs from Kyrgyzstan are participating in the tournament — "Muras United" and "Abdysh-Ata". The group stage of the AFC Challenge League includes 20 teams divided into Western and Eastern zones. From the Western zone, the winners of three groups and one team with the best performance among the second-placed teams will advance to the playoffs.
