In the group stage of the AFC Challenge Cup, "Abdysh-Ata" from Kyrgyzstan suffered its second consecutive defeat.

On October 28 in Bhutan, as part of the second round of Group A, the team from Kant faced the Omani club "Al-Shabab".

In the 9th minute of the match, "Abdysh-Ata" took the lead thanks to a long-range shot from Artem Bely — 1:0.

However, at the end of the first half, the Omanis managed to restore parity. The opponent took a free kick, and the goalkeeper of Kant's team, Sultan Chomoev, failed to hold onto the ball, which was finished into the net by an "Al-Shabab" player — 1:1.

The second half of the game also saw mistakes from "Abdysh-Ata". Defender Manzhi Williams lost the ball in the opponent's half, which allowed the rival to launch a quick attack. Chomoev poorly timed his interception, and the Omanis scored their second goal — 2:1.

Thus, "Abdysh-Ata" suffered its second consecutive defeat, significantly reducing its chances of advancing to the playoffs.

In the first round, the team had already lost to "Altyn Asyr" from Turkmenistan after midfielder Ilkin Muradov made a serious mistake, providing an assist to the opponent.

The next match for "Abdysh-Ata" will be on October 31 against the Bhutanese club "Paro".
