The Karakol club "Bars" has become the new champion of the country, surpassing "Muras United" from Manas by just one point.
The "Muras United" team was founded in 2023 and in its debut season managed to win the national Cup, defeating "Abdysh-Ata" in the final. However, things did not go as smoothly in the championship: the team finished in 5th place out of 10, trailing the champion "Abdysh-Ata" by 15 points.
In 2024, "Muras United" again became the Cup holder, once again defeating "Abdysh-Ata" in the decisive match. In the championship, the team improved its performance, finishing in 3rd place and winning bronze medals, but the gap from "Abdysh-Ata" remained at 15 points.
In the 2025 season, "Muras United" reached the Cup final, where they lost to "Dordoi" in extra time.
As for the championship, the team demonstrated excellent results until the very end. However, setbacks in away matches against "Dordoi" and "Bars" jeopardized their leadership, although a victory over "Abdysh-Ata" allowed them to maintain a slight one-point advantage.
Nevertheless, three rounds before the end of the championship, "Muras United" dropped points in a game against "Özgön" (1:1) and ceded first place to "Bars".
In the end, the team finished in 2nd place, which is the best result in its history at the championship level.
Additionally, "Muras United" made its debut in the Asian Challenge League and managed to qualify for the playoffs, with matches scheduled for March 2026.
Despite the successes, the management of the club from Manas decided to part ways with the coaching staff led by Sergey Puchkov from Ukraine.
