This sporting event was successfully organized with the support of the city department of physical culture and sports.
Kanybek Esengeldiev, one of the tournament organizers, noted that 14 teams participated in the competition.
“The city cup for tug-of-war was held in Tash-Kumyr for the first time with the support of the Federation of this sport. Athletes from Bishkek, Osh, Manas, as well as the local team from Tash-Kumyr participated in the competition. The total prize fund amounted to 30,000 soms,” he added.
Results of the competition:
First place — the team “Bishkek PSN,” awarded the cup, diploma, medals, and a cash prize of 25,000 soms;
Second place — the team “Tash-Kumyr 1991,” awarded a diploma, medals, and 10,000 soms;
Third place — the team “Jalal-Abad SOBR,” receiving a diploma, medals, and a cash prize of 5,000 soms.
