The Director of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, Tourism, and Youth Affairs of the Bishkek city administration, Joomart Shamkanov, opened the competition, wishing the athletes good luck and success. He also emphasized the importance of education and well-rounded development for the young participants.
The competitions will be held from December 3 to 4 and include the participation of over 200 athletes in two age categories: junior boys under 18 and boys under 21. This championship is held annually.
Based on the results of the tournament, a team will be formed to represent the city of Bishkek at the Kyrgyzstan championship in 2026.
The event was organized by the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, Tourism, and Youth Affairs of the Bishkek city administration, the Sports School for Combat Sports, and the National Judo Federation of Kyrgyzstan.
