According to the Kyrgyz Football Union, the total number of participants in the top division will increase to 16, thanks to the addition of the teams "Toktogul" from the city of the same name and "Asia" from Talas.
It is important to note that starting from the new season, the Premier League will be renamed the Higher League, while the National League will be known as the First League.
In the new season, the team that finishes in first place in the First League will earn the right to participate in the Higher League, while the team that finishes in 16th place in the Higher League will be relegated to the First League.
In 2025, the title of champion of Kyrgyzstan was won by "Bars" from Karakol, and the top three included "Muras United" from Jalal-Abad and "Abdysh-Ata" from Kant.
The country’s cup was won by the Bishkek club "Dordoy".
