Representatives from the KFU, the Kyrgyz Professional Football League, and clubs such as "Dordoi," "Alga," "Ilbirs," "Bishkek City," "Aziagol," as well as teams "Kyrgyzaltyn" (Kara-Balta), "Abdysh-Ata" (Kant), "Talant" (Besh-Kungey), "Neftchi" (Kochkor-Ata), "Muras United" (Manas), "Özgön" (Özgön), "Alay" (Osh), "OshMU" (Osh), "Bars" (Karakol), "Toktogul" (Toktogul), and "Aziya" (Talas) were present at the meeting.
During the meeting, a decision was also made to change the names of the championships. The premier league will now be called the top league, while the national league will be referred to as the first league.
From the new season, the team that becomes the winner of the first league will receive an automatic promotion to the top league, while the team that finishes in 16th place will be relegated to the first league.
