The competitions, which will last from November 21 to 22, gathered 126 young gymnasts born in 2014, 2015, and 2016. The participants represent various sports schools and gymnastics clubs in the capital.
The Deputy Mayor of the city, Victoria Mozgacheva, participated in the opening and noted that rhythmic gymnastics is one of the most graceful sports. She wished the participants good luck both at the city level and on the international stage in the future.
The aim of the event is to support children's sports, identify talented gymnasts, and improve the training of young athletes.
The championship program includes individual performances in various types of rhythmic gymnastics, and on the second day of the competition, group programs will take place.
The organizers of this event are:
- The Department of Physical Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth Policy of the Bishkek City Administration;
- The Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation of Bishkek;
- The Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
