From November 6 to 10, the European Championship in tug of war was held in the Slovak city of Banská Bystrica, where the Kyrgyzstan team in mas-wrestling took first place. This was reported by Prosports.kz.
The competition featured the strongest athletes from countries such as Brazil, Georgia, Mexico, Mongolia, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Uzbekistan, and the Czech Republic.
The athletes from Kyrgyzstan demonstrated outstanding results, winning 18 medals: 10 gold, 5 silver, and 3 bronze. In the final team standings, their efforts under the guidance of coach Marat Ramatov secured a confident victory.
The Russian team took second place, while the athletes from Slovakia finished third.
This victory confirms the high level of training of Kyrgyz athletes and their leading positions in the world of mas-wrestling.
