These days, the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Cup is taking place in the capital, Male, with the participation of four teams.
In the group stage, the Kyrgyz team secured second place, winning against the teams from Afghanistan and Bangladesh, but losing to the Maldives in the final match.
On December 24, in the semifinals, the Kyrgyz national team faced the team from Afghanistan again and confidently gained the advantage, winning with a score of 3:1.
Now the Kyrgyz team is preparing for the final, where they will compete against the host team of the tournament — the Maldives national team.
The final matches of the tournament are scheduled for December 25.
