The Kyrgyzstan volleyball team is participating in an international tournament taking place in the Maldives. This was reported by the volleyball federation on their social media Instagram.
Recently, the Kyrgyz women faced the host team of the tournament and, unfortunately, lost with a score of 1:3.
Nevertheless, prior to this, our athletes achieved confident victories over the teams from Bangladesh and Afghanistan, which allowed them to secure the second position in the tournament standings.
The CAVA Cup (Central Asian Volleyball Association) is being held in the capital of the Maldives — Male, from December 19 to 25. The tournament features teams from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Kyrgyzstan, and the Maldives.
