Earlier, Kyrgyz athletes successfully overcame opponents from Bangladesh and Afghanistan, but suffered a defeat against the team representing the Maldives.
The tournament is held as part of the CAVA Cup (Central Asian Volleyball Association) from December 19 to 25 in the capital, Male, and includes teams from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Kyrgyzstan, and the Maldives.
