
The Olympic national team of Kyrgyzstan for football players under 23 years old has arrived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where the final part of the U-23 Asian Cup 2026 will take place, starting on January 6.
Sixteen of the best teams from the continent will participate in this tournament. Kyrgyzstan has qualified for this championship for the first time in its history, securing its place in September 2025 under the guidance of coach Edmar Lacerda.
According to the results of the draw, the Kyrgyz team is in Group A, where its opponents will be the national teams of Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, and Jordan.
