Representing the Kyrgyzstan national team were head coach Edmar Lacerda and team captain Said Datsiev.
“Our goal in this tournament is to demonstrate quality and attractive football. We understand that we are in a tough group with strong opponents, but we are confident in our abilities. The team is ready for these challenges, and we aim to show our maximum level of play,” noted the head coach.
He added: “We have studied our opponents carefully. Vietnam is a strong team with good technique and quality play under the guidance of an experienced coach. The group is very competitive, and it will not be easy.”
The first match for the Kyrgyzstan team will be against the Saudi Arabia national team, which will take place on January 6 at 22:00 Bishkek time.
In Group A, the teams of Vietnam and Jordan will also compete.
