At the international athletics tournament in Russia, Nursultan Keneshbekov from Kyrgyzstan achieved victory.

On January 7, the All-Russian tournament "Christmas Starts. Memorial of E.S. Yalamov" took place in Yekaterinburg, where the athlete competed in the 3000-meter distance.

In this distance, 14 athletes participated, and Nursultan finished first, clocking a time of 7 minutes 57.66 seconds. He was just 0.05 seconds short of setting a national record.

“This was my first start of the season. The competition went smoothly, without special preparation, right after training. The start of the season is looking good. I hope to improve my results further. I was only 0.05 seconds away from the national record, but I am confident that it’s just a matter of time. We will continue to work,” the athlete shared his thoughts on his social media pages.
