In that match, Sharshenbekov committed a foul by stepping on an opponent's foot; however, referee Fu Ming only recorded this after consulting VAR.
As a result, the player was sent off and received a punishment of a two-match suspension.
Sharshenbekov has already missed the match against Vietnam (1:2) and will not be able to help the team in the match against Jordan. His return to the field is only possible if the Kyrgyzstan national team advances to the tournament's playoffs.
