As part of the Youth Asian Cup taking place in Saudi Arabia, the Kyrgyzstan national team (U-23) suffered a defeat in their debut match.

The opponents of the Kyrgyz team were young footballers from Saudi Arabia in the first round of the group stage.

In the 35th minute of the game, the referee from China, Fu Ming, after reviewing VAR, decided to send off Arsen Sharshenbekov. Then, in the 77th minute, he pointed to the spot, awarding a penalty against Kyrgyzstan.

Goalkeeper Kurmanbek Nurlanbekov managed to save the penalty kick, but in the 88th minute, the opponents were able to capitalize on their chance and scored a goal, securing their victory.
