As part of the qualifying tournament for the Asian Cup (U-17), the youth national team of Kyrgyzstan played another match.

On November 28 in Bishkek, at the Dolon Omurzakov Stadium, the Kyrgyz team faced young footballers from Laos in the fourth round of the qualifiers.

The score in the match was opened in the 19th minute thanks to a precise shot by Bael Mirlanov — this was his fifth goal in the tournament. Seven minutes later, Pavel Grishchenko increased the lead by scoring the second goal for Kyrgyzstan.

However, at the end of the first half, the Laotians managed to make a comeback, scoring twice in four minutes and restoring parity — 2:2.

The second half was marked by intense competition, with both teams having opportunities to score, but they failed to convert their chances in regular time.

The referee added four minutes, and at that moment, the Kyrgyz national team earned a corner. The corner kick led to an own goal by a Laos defender, securing a 3:2 victory for Kyrgyzstan.

This win allowed the Kyrgyz team to accumulate 6 points and take 4th place in the group. The Kyrgyz are now level on points with Pakistan but lost out on head-to-head results.

Laos, in turn, suffered its first defeat in the qualifiers and is now 3 points behind the Yemen national team.

The final qualifying match for Kyrgyzstan will take place on November 30 against Cambodia.

Unfortunately, the Kyrgyz have already lost their chance to advance to the final round after two initial defeats to Yemen and Pakistan.
