The youth football team of Kyrgyzstan achieved its first victory in the qualifying round of the Asian Cup (U-17).

Currently, the matches are taking place in Bishkek, where the Kyrgyz national team is competing.

On November 26, in the third round of the qualifying stage, the Kyrgyz team faced Guam and secured an impressive victory with a score of 9:0.

This victory was significant for the Kyrgyz footballers, as they had previously suffered defeats against the teams of Yemen (0:2) and Pakistan (1:3), which made their chances of advancing to the finals of the Asian Cup quite questionable.

After the setbacks against Yemen and Pakistan, the Kyrgyz Football Union decided to change the head coach. Alexander Bauer from Austria was dismissed, and Anarbek Ormombekov took charge of preparing the team for the match against Guam.
