“As a coach, I always look for the reasons for our failures within myself. Each player should also ask themselves questions – where could they have performed better. We all tried and wanted to win, but we needed a victory above all. Two consecutive losses are not the result we hoped for. We qualified at a high level, but here, unfortunately, we could not show the level of play needed for success,” noted Edmar Lacerda.
He also emphasized the importance of continuing to play.
“This is the Kyrgyzstan national team, and we must approach the last match as if it were a final. We represent our country, and the players are aware of this,” added the coach.
We remind you that the next match against Jordan will take place on January 12 as part of the tournament held in Saudi Arabia with the participation of 16 teams divided into four groups. The two best teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage.
