Before the start of the final stage of the U-23 Asian Cup, a press conference was held for the Olympic football team of Kyrgyzstan. The event was attended by team captain Said Datsiev and head coach Edmar Lacerda.
Lacerda expressed confidence in the team's readiness for the tournament, despite the challenging conditions they will face:
“Our goal is to demonstrate organized and spectacular football. We understand that our opponents are strong, but we are confident in our team's preparation for this challenge,” he noted.
Said Datsiev added that the team is focused and serious:
“We believe in our abilities and strive for a positive result in every match,” the captain stated.
The Kyrgyzstan national team will play its first match on January 6 against the host team — Saudi Arabia. The match is scheduled to start at 22:00 Bishkek time.
The U-23 Asian Cup matches will be broadcast live on the UTRK Sport and Kyrgyz Sport TV channels.
