"Manchester City" - holder of the League Cup: O'Riley's double decided the fate of the final

The match, held at Wembley, ended in triumph for Manchester City, who defeated Arsenal with a narrow score of 2:0.

A key role in this victory was played by midfielder Nico O'Riley, who scored both goals in the second half. First, in the 60th minute, he opened the scoring, taking advantage of a poor outing by Arsenal goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, and then, in the 64th minute, he doubled the lead, heading the ball into the net after an accurate cross from a teammate.

After the break, City, managed by Pep Guardiola, confidently controlled the game, not allowing the opponent to create a single dangerous moment. In the first half, Arsenal had a chance to take the lead, but City goalkeeper James Trafford made a brilliant save, denying shots from Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka.

This victory marked Manchester City's ninth in the tournament's history and fifth under Guardiola's management. For Arsenal, this defeat was a blow that ended their hopes of winning four trophies this season.
