Despite the draw increasing the gap between "City" and "Arsenal," who are in first place, to four points in the Premier League table, Guardiola was pleased with his team's performance.

The team failed to score in this match for the first time in ten games and also lost players Nico Gonzalez and Savinho to injuries. Nevertheless, after the final whistle, Guardiola appeared satisfied, noting the improvement in the team's play in the second half.

In an interview with Sky Sports, he said: "Everything is fine. We got one point. The second half was magnificent. We often found ourselves near the goal, but we couldn't convert our chances. We created many opportunities against a strong opponent. The season is still long, and we will continue to fight."

In the first half of the match, "City" faced problems due to Sunderland's high pressing, and Bernardo Silva's goal was disallowed. However, after the break, the team showed better results: Savinho missed two chances, Phil Foden shot from the goal line, and Tijjani Reijnders failed to hit the target in stoppage time.

The team's captain, Bernardo Silva, was more critical of the result, saying: "We are not satisfied, as we aimed for more. In the second half, we managed to create a lot of chances, but it was one of those days when the ball just wouldn't go in."

Although the draw cost "Manchester City" important points in the title race, Guardiola's confidence suggests that the reigning champions still consider themselves serious contenders for the championship.
