In this match, Brazil demonstrated its attacking power from the very first minutes. Matheus Cunha hit the post twice, and the team created numerous threats thanks to a dynamic attack, where Vinicius Junior played as a central striker, while Estevan and Rodrigo operated on the flanks, with Cunha in the role of attacking midfielder.

Head coach Carlo Ancelotti surprised everyone by fielding Eder Militao in the right-back position. The Real Madrid defender interacted excellently with Estevan, contributing both to defensive actions and to his team's attacks.

The first goal was scored in the 28th minute: Casemiro made a pass through the defensive line, the ball deflected off a Senegalese defender and landed at Estevan's feet, who, overcoming defenders, accurately shot into the far corner – 1:0.

In the 35th minute, Brazil doubled its lead after a set piece: Rodrigo delivered a free kick to Casemiro, who, unopposed, skillfully curled the ball into the opponent's net.

Senegal became more active at the end of the first half, but Brazil's goalkeeper Ederson saved the team from a goal, making two magnificent saves against shots from Pape Gueye and Ismaila Sarr in stoppage time.

The most dangerous moment for Senegal arose at the beginning of the second half: in the 51st minute, Ederson made a mistake while handling the ball, giving Iliman Ndiaye a chance, but surprisingly, he hit the post from close range, missing the opportunity to change the course of the match.

Despite several chances in the second half, Senegal could not break through the opponent's goal. The Brazilians continued to threaten with counterattacks, and Vinicius Junior often stretched the opponent's defensive lines, although he failed to convert several excellent opportunities.

Overall, the Brazilian team's performance under Ancelotti showed improvement in defense and creativity in attack, which has become a hallmark of the team.

This victory was Brazil's first against Senegal and Carlo Ancelotti's fourth in seven matches as head coach.

The Italian specialist continues to use friendly matches to experiment with the lineup and search for reliable options ahead of the upcoming 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

Brazil's next match will be against Tunisia in Lille on Tuesday.
