"Abdysh-Ata" lost to "Al-Shabab" and seriously complicated their path to the playoffs

The start of the match was promising for "Abdysh-Ata": already in the 9th minute, forward Artem Belyi opened the scoring with a long-range shot, putting his team ahead. However, the end of the first half created tension for the Kant team. Goalkeeper Sultan Chomoev failed to reliably clear the ball after a set piece, and Majid Al-Saladi took advantage of the situation, equalizing the score in the 44th minute.

The second half of the match also brought troubles for "Abdysh-Ata." Defender Manzhi Williams made a mistake on the opponent's half of the field, allowing the rival to launch a quick attack. Chomoev poorly came out to the ball, which enabled Mohamed Al-Ghafri to score the winning goal in the 77th minute.

This defeat significantly complicated the team's chances of advancing to the playoffs. In the first round, "Abdysh-Ata" also faced defeat, losing to "Altyn Asyr" from Turkmenistan due to a mistake by midfielder Ilkin Muradov, who made a goal assist to the opponent.

The next match for "Abdysh-Ata" will be on October 31 against the Bhutanese team "Paro," in which the club will fight for their last chances of salvation in the group.

Match result of the second round of Group A (October 28):

Goals: Artem Belyi, 9 (1:0); Majid Al-Saladi, 44 (1:1); Mohamed Al-Ghafri, 77 (1:2).
