Erling Haaland, a forward from Norway, has made history in the English Premier League by becoming the fastest player to reach 100 goals. This milestone occurred during the match between Manchester City and Fulham when Haaland scored his century goal in the 17th minute, sending the ball into the top corner of the net.
What is impressive is that Haaland achieved this mark in just 111 matches, allowing him to break the previous record held by Alan Shearer, who needed 124 appearances to reach 100 goals.
After his team's victory with a score of 5-4, Haaland shared his feelings: "It's incredible, I'm proud of this milestone. 100 goals is a special target, and I'm glad to be a part of it. My goal is to help the team score."
As of now in the 2025/26 season, he has already scored 15 goals in the Premier League and 33 in all competitions, including performances for both club and country. Since his transfer to Manchester City in 2022, Haaland has continued to be one of the most prolific players in the world. He also set the Premier League record for the most goals in a single season, scoring 36 goals.
