This year, the symbolic FIFPRO Men’s World 11 features the best footballers on the planet, chosen by the players themselves. Among the finalists, there are many stars from both the English Premier League and the Champions League-winning team Paris Saint-Germain.
The goalkeeper position is represented by three candidates: Alisson Becker from Liverpool, Thibaut Courtois from Real Madrid, and Gianluigi Donnarumma, who plays for PSG and Manchester City.
The defenders on the list include Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, William Saliba, Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes, and Pau Cubarsi.
Among the midfielders, notable names include Jude Bellingham, Kevin De Bruyne, Luka Modric, João Neves, Cole Palmer, Pedri, Federico Valverde, and Vitinha.
The attack features well-known players such as Kylian Mbappé, Erling Haaland, Mohamed Salah, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ousmane Dembélé, Raphinha, and young talent Lamine Yamal.
It is interesting to note that Lionel Messi, representing Inter Miami, and Cristiano Ronaldo from Al-Nassr are the only finalists playing for clubs outside of European leagues.
The results of the voting and the final composition of the FIFPRO World 11 will be announced next week.
