The new contract ensures that Messi will continue to play in MLS both before and after the 2026 World Cup, which will take place in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
“I am very happy to stay here and continue this project, which has become not only a dream but also a wonderful reality — playing at this stadium, Miami Freedom Park,” the footballer noted in his official statement.
