The World Boxing Futures Cup competitions for athletes under 19 years old are taking place in Bangkok.
Arvaz competes in the weight category up to 70 kg, where 40 boxers are registered.
In the first round, 1/16 finals, his opponent was a boxer from the Czech Republic. Following the three-minute rounds, the judges unanimously awarded the victory to Akhmadi.
He now advances to the 1/8 finals, where on March 12 he will meet a Hungarian athlete.
Unfortunately, Nursultan Duyshonaliev (weight up to 55 kg) lost in his first match to a boxer from Azerbaijan.
In the evening, Eldiyar Tenisbekov (up to 65 kg) will enter the ring, fighting for a spot in the quarterfinals.
