At an official meeting in Florida, a face-to-face dialogue took place between Gervonta "Tank" Davis and blogger-boxer Jake Paul. This event occurred ahead of their upcoming exhibition fight scheduled for November 14 at the Kaseya Center. MVP head Nakisa Bidarian confirmed that the fight will consist of ten three-minute rounds.

Jake Paul primarily competes in the cruiserweight division (up to 200 pounds), but for the bout with Mike Tyson, he increased his weight to heavyweight. Gervonta Davis has spent most of his career in lightweight (up to 135 pounds) and last fought in March, drawing with Lamont Roach.

Lamont Roach, who has faced Davis in the past, expressed doubts that "Tank" would agree to a rematch, believing that the boxer might be considering retirement. Roach, who is preparing for a fight with Isaac "Pitbull" Cruz in December, criticized Davis's choice to fight a 200-pound blogger: "Don't avoid fighting me and fight a blogger... That's unacceptable," he said in an interview with Fight Hub TV.

The boxing community is discussing the significant weight difference and the use of 12-ounce gloves. Davis's trainer, Calvin Ford, suggested changing the glove size to eight ounces for Davis and ten for Paul to make the fight safer and more competitive.

Despite the criticism, the upcoming fight is generating interest among a wide audience, although its results will not be counted in the professional records of the boxers.
