The Central Election Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic has suspended the powers of several deputies of local councils and excluded some registered candidates from the list. This decision was prompted by the fact that these deputies successfully won seats in the Jogorku Kenesh in the recent elections.

Among those whose powers have been terminated are:

In addition, the CEC annulled the powers of deputies of local councils in the Chui, Batken, and Jalal-Abad regions.

On November 30, early elections to the Jogorku Kenesh were held in Kyrgyzstan. The turnout was 1,584,446 voters, which is 36.9%. There were also 100 polling stations opened abroad.

The elections were held under updated rules that take into account the gender quota, according to which there must be at least one female deputy from each constituency.

The CEC recognized the elections as legitimate, except for constituency No. 13, where repeat elections for deputies of the JK have been scheduled.
