Born on June 25, 1919, in the village of Psedakh, now in the Malgobek district of Ingushetia, in a peasant family. Chechen. Primary education.

In the Red Army since 1937. Participant in the Soviet-Finnish War of 1939-40. On the front in the Great Patriotic War since July 1941.

As a scout in the 165th Separate Reconnaissance Company (125th Rifle Division, 8th Army, Leningrad Front), Sergeant Duda Enginoev, on April 9, 1944, during battles near Narva (Estonia), acting in a reconnaissance group, stealthily infiltrated the enemy's positions, eliminated three soldiers, and captured valuable documents.

On April 17, 1944, in the same battles, Enginoev, along with other scouts, captured an enemy soldier and delivered documents containing important information to the division command.

For bravery and courage displayed in battle, on April 27, 1944, Sergeant Enginoev Duda Edievich was awarded the Order of Glory 3rd class (No. 46959).

On September 21, 1944, during the battles for the capital of Estonia, the city of Tallinn, the assistant platoon commander of the 165th Separate Reconnaissance Company, Senior Sergeant Enginoev, led a group that engaged an enemy unit in retreat, resulting in the capture of many enemy soldiers and officers.

For bravery and courage displayed in battle, on October 16, 1944, Senior Sergeant Enginoev Duda Edievich was awarded the Order of Glory 2nd class (No. 4352).

On January 24 and 29, 1945, while on reconnaissance south of the city of Opeln (now Opole, Poland), the platoon commander of the 165th Separate Reconnaissance Company (125th Rifle Division, 21st Army, 1st Ukrainian Front), Senior Sergeant Duda Enginoev and his soldiers destroyed a large number of Nazis and captured more than a dozen.

There are reports that by the end of the war, Enginoev had accounted for about 100 captured enemy soldiers!

By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated April 10, 1945, for exemplary performance of command assignments in battles against German-fascist invaders, Senior Sergeant Enginoev Duda Edievich was awarded the Order of Glory 1st class (No. 1810), becoming a full knight of the Order of Glory.

In 1946, D.E. Enginoev was demobilized. He lived in the village of Belek in the Sokuluk district of Kyrgyzstan. He worked in a paramilitary security service. He passed away on October 22, 1979.

He was awarded the Orders of the Red Star, Glory 1st, 2nd, and 3rd class, and medals.

His memory is carefully preserved not only in the Enginoev family but also in the book "Knights of the Order of Glory of the Russian Federation".
