Beishev Usen - Participant of the Great Patriotic War.
Full Knight of the Order of Glory. Served in the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army from August 1942 to December 1946. Military specialty — gunner, commander of the gun of the 83rd Guards Rifle Regiment (27th Guards Rifle Division, 8th Guards Army, 1st Belorussian Front) Guards Sergeant. Since 1968, he has been a retired Guards Senior Sergeant.
Born on October 10, 1922, in the village of Kochkorka, now in the Kochkorka District of the Naryn Region (Kyrgyzstan), in a peasant family. Kyrgyz. Education: secondary.
After finishing school, Usen Beishevich went to work at the collective farm "Tendik" (Equality). He joined the Komsomol. Shortly before the war began, his fellow villagers entrusted him with a significant responsibility by electing him to the board of the collective farm. Soon after, Usen Beishev became the secretary of the Kochkorka Village Council.
Since June 1941, he did not cease his attempts to go to the front, but only on August 15, 1942, did he receive the long-awaited summons from the military enlistment office. He reached the front in February 1943.

As a gunner of a 45-mm gun of the 83rd Guards Rifle Regiment (27th Guards Rifle Division, 8th Guards Army, 3rd Ukrainian Front), Guards Private Beishev on February 1, 1944, in a battle near the village of Krasnoe (south of the city of Apostolovo, Dnipropetrovsk region), while acting as part of the crew, covered the actions of the infantry unit. He brought the gun to direct fire and suppressed the fire of machine gun positions, burning an enemy vehicle with ammunition.
By the order of the 27th Guards Rifle Division dated March 6, 1944, Private Beishev Usen was awarded the Order of Glory 3rd class (No. 31158).
As a commander of the gun, Guards Sergeant Beishev (same combat unit, 1st Belorussian Front) on January 14, 1945, in the area of the settlement of Golovluv (Magnuszew Bridgehead, Poland), with accurate fire, disabled a machine gun that was blocking the way for our units; during the offensive, while in the combat formations of the infantry, he destroyed two machine guns with their crews and up to a platoon of enemy soldiers. During the repulsion of a counterattack, the crew destroyed two tanks, two armored vehicles, and more than thirty enemy soldiers.
By the order of the 8th Guards Army dated March 17, 1945, Guards Sergeant Beishev Usen was awarded the Order of Glory 2nd class (No. 28273).
In a battle on April 16, 1945, on the left bank of the Oder River during the breakthrough of the enemy's defense near the city of Dolgelin (Germany), he suppressed two firing points with direct fire and ensured the advance of our infantry. During the assault on the height in the area of Ludwigslust, when the enemy launched a counterattack, Beishev, despite being wounded, continued to fire from the gun, hitting more than ten enemy soldiers.
During the assault on Berlin in street fighting, the infantry unit supporting Beishev's gun was counterattacked by six German heavy tanks. The gun crew knocked out three of them, forcing the others to retreat. In this battle, Beishev was seriously wounded.
By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated May 15, 1946, for courage, bravery, and heroism displayed in the fight against the German fascist invaders, Guards Sergeant Beishev Usen was awarded the Order of Glory 1st class (No. 1152).
Due to his wounds and concussion, Usen Beishev spent almost a year in hospitals. He then continued to serve in the army until December 1946. After demobilization, he returned to his native village. He worked as a supply manager for the district pasture management and as a senior credit inspector for the district finance department.
He died on September 12, 1982. He was buried in the city of Kochkorka, Naryn Region, Kyrgyz Republic. A street in the village of Kochkorka and a secondary school in the village of Kara-Kulji (the same district) are named after him.
