Mogulistan from the period 906/1500–01 to 950/1543–44
Sheibani Khan, Mahmud Khan, Ahmed Khan, and Others... In 906/1500—01, Sheibani Khan, advised by Mahmud Khan, conquered Samarkand and Bukhara. Strengthening his power in Maverannahr and increasing his troops to fifty thousand, he decided to eliminate his recent patron, Mahmud Khan. Ahmed Khan, learning of his brother's difficult situation, left his eldest son Mansur Khan in Mogulistan and went to aid Mahmud Khan in Tashkent. The brothers decided to raid Fergana and besieged Ahsikent.
