RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS OF THE KYRGYZ SSR AND THE CENTRAL COMMITTEE OF THE COMMUNIST PARTY (BOLSHEVIKS) OF KYRGYZSTAN "ON THE ORGANIZATION AT THE FRUNZE STUDIO OF CINEMATOGRAPHY OF A DUBBING WORKSHOP FOR THE DUBBING OF FEATURE AND DOCUMENTARY FILMS IN THE KYRGYZ LANGUAGE"

Frunze, February 8, 1944

Emphasizing the great political and cultural significance of releasing feature and documentary films with spoken dialogue or subtitles in the Kyrgyz language, the Council of Ministers of the Kyrgyz SSR and the Central Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Kyrgyzstan resolve:

1. To organize a dubbing workshop at the Frunze Studio of Cinematography for the production of subtitles and dubbing of feature and documentary films in the Kyrgyz language.

2. To request the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) and the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR to obligate the All-Union Committee for Cinematography (Comrade Bolshakov) to allocate the necessary additional equipment according to the attached list in the first quarter of 1944 and to allocate 200,000 rubles for the production work on equipping the dubbing workshop.

3. To obligate the executive committee of the Frunze City Council of Workers' Deputies to additionally allocate 3 rooms for the placement of the dubbing workshop at the studio of cinematography.
