DECREE OF THE COUNCIL OF PEOPLE'S COMMISSARS OF THE KYRGYZ SSR "ON TEMPORARY HOUSING MEASURES IN THE CITY OF FRUNZE"

The Council of People's Commissars of the Kyrgyz SSR decrees: In connection with the arrival of evacuees from the front-line zone and the necessity of providing them with housing, to grant the right to the Executive Committee of the Frunze City Council of Workers' Deputies to carry out the densification of housing in the city for the accommodation of evacuees and families of military personnel.

FROM THE PROTOCOL OF THE MEETING OF THE FRUNZE CITY COUNCIL OF WORKERS' DEPUTIES ON THE COMMEMORATION OF THE MEMORY OF THE HERO OF THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR, MAJOR GENERAL PANFILOV
City of Frunze November 24, 1941
§1. Heard: On the commemoration of the memory of the Hero of the Patriotic War, Major General Comrade Panfilov (former Military Commissar of the Kyrgyz SSR), who perished in the struggle against the fascist-German invaders while defending the city of Moscow.
Resolved: In memory of the Hero of the Patriotic War against the fascist invaders, Major General Comrade Panfilov, to rename Sadovaya Street to Panfilov Street.
To establish a monument to Comrade Panfilov in the city of Frunze*.
*By the decree of the Council of People's Commissars of the Kyrgyz SSR dated April 3, 1942, 150,000 rubles were allocated from the republican budget for the construction of the monument. See document No. 137.
To assign the name of the Hero of the Patriotic War, Comrade Panfilov, to Secondary School No. 6.
To grant the family of Comrade Panfilov a one-time allowance of 5,000 rubles.
To request the Council of People's Commissars of the Kyrgyz SSR to approve this decision.
