Starting from February 11, a decision to implement navigation seals for cargo will come into effect in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), according to the Traceability Agreement. This was announced by Elimbek Kanybek uulu, head of the EAEU Coordination Department of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, at a press conference at the Kabar agency.

Elimbek Kanybek uulu emphasized that the implementation process will be carried out in stages. In the first stage, navigation seals will be installed on goods included in the main list of the agreement. In the future, there are plans to expand the list of products subject to labeling.

Among the goods that will have seals installed first are sanctioned goods, excise products, including alcohol and tobacco products, as well as certain categories of light industry products.

“We are at the stage of discussing the expansion of the list of goods that will be included in the second wave. However, starting from February 11, navigation seals must be installed on the specified types of goods,” he added.
