The main topic of the event was to summarize the socio-economic development of the region for the year 2025 and to define priority tasks for the future.

During the discussion, important aspects were addressed, such as the implementation of state and regional programs, the execution of social and infrastructure projects, as well as issues of security and communal sustainability. The discussion on improving the quality of public services and attracting investments, as well as the introduction of digital technologies in public administration, became a key point of the meeting, emphasizing the need for coordination between central and local authorities.

In his speech, Bakyt Torobayev noted the significance of the five-year term of President Sadyr Japarov, who will celebrate the anniversary of his assumption of office in 2025.

“The comparison of economic indicators from 2020 and 2025 shows significant changes that can be characterized as 'night and day,'” said Torobayev. In 2025, the consolidated budget of the country amounted to over 1 trillion soms, which is an impressive increase compared to 247.8 billion soms in 2020.

The minister also emphasized the growth of the real sector of the economy, noting that construction, industry, services, and agriculture have become the main factors of economic growth.

The discussion also covered issues of improving budget discipline, enhancing control over expenditures, and further developing investment policy. Torobayev highlighted the importance of actively applying public-private partnership mechanisms, strengthening interaction between central government bodies and the Batken region administration, as well as increasing readiness for risk and emergency management. An important point was the creation of conditions to improve the quality of life for the population, including internal migration and job creation.

“It is necessary not only to support economic growth but also to ensure sustainable development of the regions through attracting investments, creating jobs, and developing infrastructure. We must continue our work to enhance the well-being of citizens and create conditions for sustainable economic growth,” he added.

As a result of the board meeting, specific tasks were assigned to the regional administration and relevant ministries, including the implementation of strategic programs with clear deadlines and designated responsibilities, accelerating the launch of priority projects, completing unfinished social facilities, as well as improving the management of public finances and assets. Attention will be paid to the introduction of modern monitoring and control tools, environmental and social responsibility of large projects, and improving the quality of public services.
