





As part of the Bharat Electricity Summit 2026, the Minister of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Talaybek Ibraev, held meetings with leaders of key energy and technology companies from India, such as KEC International Limited, NHPC Limited, NTPC Limited, and CraticAI Services Private Limited. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During these meetings, the possibilities for implementing investment projects in the energy sector of Kyrgyzstan were discussed. In particular, the focus was on the development of hydropower, the introduction of renewable energy sources, the modernization of the coal industry and energy infrastructure, as well as digital and innovative solutions.
As a result of the negotiations, two memorandums of understanding were signed between the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic and KEC International Limited, as well as with CraticAI Services Private Limited, aimed at developing mutually beneficial cooperation and working on joint projects in the energy sector.
On March 21, 2026, the minister visited the solar power plant of NTPC Limited in Noida, where he became acquainted with modern electricity generation technologies, as well as solutions for long-term energy storage and new approaches to electricity accumulation.
This visit confirmed Kyrgyzstan's interest in expanding cooperation with Indian companies and implementing advanced technologies for the sustainable development of the country's energy sector.
