The memorandum was signed by Altynbek Rysbekov, Deputy Minister of Energy, and Tsu Chenzi, General Director of "Kyrgyzstan Reclaim Co. Ltd".
“According to the agreements reached, the implementation of an investment project related to the construction of a cascade of small hydropower plants with a total installed capacity of about 200 MW is planned,” the press release states.
The total investment volume is estimated at approximately $300 million.It is expected that the implementation of this project will increase new generating capacities, strengthen the energy stability of the country, and contribute to the sustainable development of the energy sector, the Ministry of Energy is confident.
