The aim of the competition was to identify and reward the best export-oriented companies, as well as to increase the popularity of Kyrgyz products in international markets.
Welcoming speeches were delivered by Sultan Akhmatov, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Temir Sariyev, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Urmat Takirov, Director of the "Kyrgyz Export" Center. The event was also attended by competition partners, including the UN Development Programme's trade facilitation project and representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
This year, 78 applications were submitted for the competition, and after thorough analysis, the jury members selected the best exporters in ten different nominations.
Thirty prize winners who took the top spots were awarded certificates that provide opportunities for:
• implementation of international quality standards;
• training under the Mini-MBA program;
• free participation in international exhibitions;
• as well as a trip to Silicon Valley (USA).
The event was supported by the UN Development Programme's trade facilitation project, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the High Technology Park, the State Insurance Organization, OJSC "Eldik Bank," and CJSC "Alpha Telecom" (MegaCom).
First places in various nominations were awarded to the following companies:
• LLC "Confectionery House 'Kulikovsky'" - best exporter of food processing;
• LLC "Dan Agro Products" - best exporter of agricultural products;
• LLC "Kool Group" - best exporter of textile and garment production;
• LLC "Kant TShP" - best exporter of industrial products;
• LLC "Med Devs" - best exporter in the services and IT sector;
• LLC "Kyrgyzcenterproduct" - best exporter implementing international standards;
• LLC "Agro Industry" - breakthrough of the year;
• LLC "Dary Tian-Shanya" - best exporter of small and medium-sized enterprises;
• LLC "Talas-Diykan" - best regional exporter;
• LLC "RAIMA" - woman exporter.
