In Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, a business forum was held organized by the "Kyrgyz Export" Center, which operates under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, in collaboration with the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the event, Urmat Takirov, the director of the "Kyrgyz Export" Center, presented the export opportunities of Kyrgyzstan to participants from Afghanistan. The result of the forum was the signing of 11 memorandums of understanding concerning the supply of goods and services for a total amount of 157 million US dollars. These agreements cover various sectors, including telecommunications equipment, cement, footwear, pharmaceuticals, honey, logistics services, and agricultural products.

More than 100 representatives from government agencies and business circles of both countries participated in the business forum.

The Kyrgyz delegation was headed by Bakyt Sydykov, the Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic. During his visit to Kabul, the House of Trade of Kyrgyzstan was opened, and bilateral meetings were held to discuss opportunities for expanding mutual trade, developing export cooperation, and implementing joint projects.

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic expresses its gratitude to the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Afghanistan for the organizational support and assistance in conducting the forum.
