
The event was organized by the "Kyrgyz Export" Center under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic in cooperation with the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment. More than 100 participants from government institutions and business communities of both countries took part in the forum.
Urmatt Takirov, the director of the "Kyrgyz Export" Center, presented the export opportunities of Kyrgyzstan to Afghan entrepreneurs. The signed agreements pertain to the supply of telecommunications equipment, pharmaceuticals, cement, honey, footwear, agricultural products, as well as the provision of logistics services.
The Kyrgyz delegation was headed by the Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov. During the visit to Kabul, the House of Trade of Kyrgyzstan was also opened, and bilateral meetings were held aimed at expanding mutual trade and developing export cooperation.
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic expressed gratitude to the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Afghanistan for the high level of organizational support and assistance in holding the business forum.
