
A Memorandum of Cooperation regarding public-private partnership for the construction and operation of the "Western Bypass Road" was signed in Bishkek. This document was formalized at the National Investment Agency under the President, as reported by the press service of this agency. The memorandum aims to implement a significant infrastructure project that is expected to improve transport logistics in the capital and reduce the load on the existing road network.
Representatives from the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the National Investment Agency, the Bishkek City Hall, JSC "Eldik Bank," LLC "Bat Zhet," and the Chinese company "China National Heavy Machinery Corporation (CHMC)" participated in the signing of the document.
The parties noted that the main goal of the memorandum is to coordinate joint efforts and create conditions for effective interaction during the implementation of the project. All participants confirmed their interest in developing the partnership based on the principles of equality, mutual benefit, and openness.
The "Western Bypass Road" project is seen as a key step in the development of the transport infrastructure of the capital, as well as an incentive for attracting investments into the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
