During the discussions, key points regarding the projects of the second hydro unit of the Kambar-Ata HPP-2 and the reconstruction of the Uch-Kurgan HPP were addressed. The parties agreed on the need to expedite the preparation and execution timelines for construction and installation works.

Key outcomes of the meetings
Regarding the reconstruction project of the Uch-Kurgan HPP (HU-1 and HU-2):
- 80% of the equipment for HU-2 will be delivered by February 1, 2026;
- for HU-1 — by June 1, 2026;
- project teams are staffed with highly qualified specialists;
- completion of works for HU-2 is scheduled for October 1, 2026, and for HU-1 — for November 1, 2026.

As for the Kambar-Ata HPP-2 (commissioning of the second hydro unit):
- a decision has been made to accelerate the design works;
- model turbine testing is scheduled for January 2026;
- timelines for preparation, delivery, and installation of equipment for lots 1 and 2 have been shortened;
- construction and land works (lot-3) have been expedited as a result of additional negotiations;
- factory equipment inspection is planned for April 2026.
